1969 marked the first year for the famed mechanical fuel injection in Porsches top of the line S models. The 1969 S was Germany’s fastest production car in 1969 and instantly became the dream car of almost every motoring enthusiast in the world.
With only 1492 units produced and the highest hp rating (170) for any 2.0l engine the high revving 1969 S model has risen to almost iconic status among the Porsche aficionados. There is nothing like the potent 2 liter Boxer coming “on cams” at 6000rpm and above.

This particular example is a very early car (#47), produced in September 1968 and has been restored in 2008. It is a fully numbers matching car per Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche.
