1988 Porsche Carrera G50
We are pleased to offer on behalf of one of our clients this special edition 1988 G50 Porsche Carrera 3.2l.
This car is one of only 120 Coupes made for the US by Porsche to commemorate the 250.000st Porsche 911 built in 1988, a mile stone for a sports car manufacturer.
Porsche built only 875 of these rare examples and only 300 came to the US, of which only 120 were Coupes. Diamond Blue Metallic was standard with matching color wheels as well as accented nicely with the supple leather interior in diamond blue. Most noticeable feature is the hand stitched signature of Ferry Porsche in the headrest. Shortened shift lever was standard along with heavy duty windshield cleaners, headlight washers, and power sunroof. Our car also is an optional rear spoiler delete.
This car is 100% original paint on a laser straight body with impeccable full leather interior. Very low 42k original miles from new, this car is highly collectable and very rare in this condition.
Fully documented and with Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.
The car currently sits on 17” Braid wheels in new condition, but the original, date coded and color matched Fuchs wheels with brand new tires are with the car and come with the purchase. Ride height is set to owner’s preference but can easily be adjusted up to original specs.
This is an outstandingly nice example and in true collector quality for the most discerning buyer and enthusiast.
