We are pleased to offer on behalf of one of our clients this original 1967 Porsche 911 Sunroof Coupe.
This car is best described as a drivable restoration project. Depending on what the intended outcome is, this 911 can be driven as is with some tune up work, or it could be completely restored to original specification and it could also serve as a great basis to build a personalized and unique “outlaw Hot Rod” 911.
What we have is a largely original and complete 1967 Porsche 911 Sunroof Coupe. The car has been with its current California owner for the last 6 years and has had some service done. The car runs, drives and shifts well, but the original Weber carbs will require some tune up and the engine needs to be re-sealed.
The body is straight and as far as we can tell accident free. There is some rust in the front right fender and door and also around the front suspension, which needs to be addressed. The paint is old and in presentable but not great shape with scratches and chips along most of the body. Door and panel fit is nice. The engine is original, correct and numbers matching 2.0l (911/06). The car was originally a polo red car and equipped with a sunroof.
The interior is partly restored (seats, headliner) and generally in very good shape. The vehicle comes with the original radio, spare, jack and complete but very aged toolkit.
A great opportunity to acquire a numbers matching, early 911 in reasonably good shape to enjoy immediately, restore or modify!
