1974 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7
We proudly offer one of the rare 1974 Porsche Carrera 2.7 in US spec version for sale.
This car is a very original example with a fully documented history. The car is only with its second owner since new.
The rare and very desireable gulfblue (Porsche code J9J9) color is still mostly original paint with the exception of trunk lid and front fenders. The finish still shows extremely nice.
The original midnight blue leather seats have been refinsihed recently to original specs.
The 2.7 liter CIS engine has been professionally rebuilt about 8000 miles ago and is lightly tuned with only the best components used. Complete paperwork on the job is of course on file.
These 74 Carreras were the direct successor of the legendary Carrera RS of 72/73 still wearing the famed ducktail spoiler and Carrera doorscripts from new. This car is one of only 528 Coupes built for the 74 model year in US Carrera specification, making it an important car for any 911 collection. Demand is exceeding availabilty for those cars and the car on offer here is truly one of the very best available anywhere in the world.
