1971 Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Junior
We are excited to offer on behalf of one of our clients this outstanding 1971 Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Junior.
Beautifully preserved and very authentic and original 1971 Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Junior. Documented 89,575 km (55,659 miles) since new. Well maintained and cared for throughout it’s life in Turin, Italy. This car is amazingly untouched and all components are correct and original to the car. Includes original license plates and Italian registration book indicating the vehicle use and ownership. Imported to the US in 2012. This car is numbers matching including Engine, 5 Speed Transmission, Paint and Interior. The exterior is rust free and has never seen an accident. The original Grigio Indaco paint has seen one exterior re-spray back in the 1980’s. The paint shows very well, although it does have minor scratches.
The body is perfectly straight and free from dents or dings. All the glass is correct and original SICURSIV including the windshield. All lenses are original CARELLO including the headlights and are in very nice condition. The interior is completely original although the seats which have been restored in the correct Italian leather. The trunk is clean and the original jack and tool kit are present. Campagnolo Turbina wheels are in very nice condition. Mechanically the car is flawless. The car feels great on the road and performs as it should. The engine compartment features all components that the car was originally delivered with. This includes the original air cleaner, coil, fuel delivery system, brake booster etc. All wiring is properly terminated and nothing has been improperly modified or removed.
The shifting is perfectly smooth and the engine is very strong. The carburetors are tuned and balanced. The electrical system is in perfect working order including all gages and lights. The suspension is tight and the car handles very well. The brakes are solid and do not pull. Overall the car is beautifully clean and tidy and runs as it should. A substantial amount of work has been done on the car recently and it is in need of nothing. The car is currently registered in California.
