The 2,2E (E for Einspritzer is German for Injection) is a fantastic engine with more mid range torque than an S. It produces 155hp and is as fast or faster as an S in most regular driving conditions. Produced only in 1970 and 1971 in very limited numbers and equipped with a factory aluminum deck lid these cars are sought after by enthusiasts all over the world for their looks, rarity and performance.

This car has been imported from Germany many years ago and was purchased by the current, 3^rd owner in 2011. It underwent a full body and engine restoration from 2011 through 2014. All receipts of the work are available upon request. Repainted to original spec Conda Green (2626). The body- and paintwork has been done to a high standard and still presents very nice today.

The numbers matching motor is also rebuild and runs flawless with no more than 500 miles since restoration.
The interior of the car is in appealing condition with genuine leather sport seats and hounds tooth interior. Rare through the grille fog lights and Euro spec ride height complete the stunning look. All numbers matching with Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. 5 date coded (1-70) deep dish Fuchs rims restored by Weidman.
