1973.5 Porsche 911 T Coupe, Original Paint!

1973.5 Porsche 911 T Coupe, Original Paint!
We are excited to offer on behalf of one of our customers, this excellent, highly original low mile 1973.5 Porsche 911T Coupe!
For many years, 2shores has been offering selected first grade examples of collectible automobiles. This outstanding 911T CIS Coupe is one of those rare offerings!
History:
In January 1973, due to stringent US emission laws, US bound 911Ts received the new K-Jetronic CIS (Continuous Fuel Injection) system from Bosch. These CIS-powered cars are usually referred to as “1973.5” models by enthusiasts in the US. The power rating was 140 PS (103 kW) for both manual (911/91, CIS) and Sportomatic (911/96, CIS). That makes it the strongest and most reliable long hood 911T model produced. This is a US only example and less than 2000 Coupes have been produced.
This car:
Our car on offer is a fully numbers matching highly original and un-restored CIS T with only 38k miles from new.
Sold new from Mossner Porsche-Audi Inc in Milwaukee, WI on August 14, 1973, the car is finished in Viper Green Metallic (POR 249) over a brown hounds tooth interior.
Features include front and rear stabilizer bars, Recaro sport seats, appearance group, pressure cast alloy wheels, retractable antenna, tinted glass, and rustproofing.
The 911 stayed with its first owner for 29 years before the second and current owner purchased the car with 15k miles in 2002.
This 911T now shows 38k miles and is offered in Wisconsin with a window sticker, factory books, tool kit, jack, registration records, original owners dealer maintenance book, factory bra, original tires still mounted on original cookie cutter wheels, original spare wheel and tire, all service records from 1973 until present, and a clean Wisconsin title in the seller’s name.
The car was fitted with period correct Fuchs wheels in 2003 keeping the original Cookie Cutters in storage.
The paint is all original as it left the dealer and of course it does show it’s share of patina. Please see the various chips and scratches in the exterior photo gallery. Also note the paint spider webbing, checking, swirl marks, and micro scratches that have begun to develop. The paint has not been professionally corrected and detailed and certainly can be visually improved.
This is a super low mile survivor type 911 in fantastic condition, very attractive color combination and full service history back to day one! This 911 is totally original and unaltered and even still sits at official US spec height, which, in our opinion should be improved to Euro spec height for an improved stance and better handling.
A very rare opportunity for the serious enthusiast. Early long hood 911s do not come in this un-touched condition often.
Please study all the photos closely to evaluate the condition of this car!
