We are excited to offer on behalf of one of our clients, this gorgeous, low mile 1995 BMW 850 CSI Coupe.

For many years, 2shores has been offering selected, finest grade examples of collectible automobiles. This desirable V12 BMW Coupe is one of those examples!

As a top-of-the-range variant of the 8 Series, the 850 CSi took over from the prototype M8 variant. The 850 CSi used the same engine as the 850i, which was tuned so significantly that BMW assigned it a new engine code: S70B56. The modifications included Bosch Motronic 1.7 fuel injection, a capacity increase to 5,576 cc (5.6 L) and power increase to 280 kW (375 hp) at 5,300 rpm and 550 N⋅m (406 lbf⋅ft) of torque at 4,000 rpm. Road & Track recorded a 0–60 mph (0–97 km/h) time for the 850CSi of 5.9 seconds.

The 850CSi’s modified suspension included stiffer springs and dampers that reduced the car’s ride height. The recirculating ball steering ratio was dropped 15% over the standard E31 setup. The model also sported staggered throwing star wheels. The front and rear bumpers were reshaped for improved aerodynamic performance. Four round stainless steel exhaust tips replaced the square tips found on other models. The 6-speed manual gearbox was the only transmission option.

Production ended in late 1996 because the S70 engine could not be modified to comply with new emission regulations without substantial re-engineering.

Only 225(!) examples were sold to the US.

Our car on offer is a 31k mile example finished in stunning arktis silver (309) over two tone black with gray leather interior. According to our research, only 17 cars have been finished in this color. The car is completely original and un-modified in A grade collector condition.

The body presents extremely nice with no visual flaws and is, except for the front hood, factory original paint with a beautiful sheen. Perfect gaps and shut lines all around.

The impressive all original interior is among the nicest you will ever see in a high end 90’s Coupe. The two tone leather is in perfect condition with no signs of any wear and still soft to the touch. The dashboard with all instruments and the surrounding leather and wood work is simply gorgeous. All of the controls and knobs are free of any degrading or signs of use. Door panels and carpet as well as headliner are flawless.

The impressive V12 engine has been regularly serviced and runs perfect. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6 speed manual transmission. Needless to say, this Coupe is a joy to drive, a true luxury GT car of the finest manner.

The impressive stats, the visual beauty and very limited production numbers are making these 850 CSIs highly collectable in today’s market.
