For many years, 2shores has been offering selected, finest grade examples of collectible automobiles. This classic BMW Coupe is one of those examples!

The BMW E24 is the first generation of BMW 6 Series range of grand tourer cars, which was produced from January 1976 to 1989 and replaced the BMW E9 coupé.
The E24 was produced solely in a 2-door coupé body style. All models used petrol straight-six engines, with the majority (aside from the M635CSi/M6 model) using a version of the BMW M30 engine family.

Originally the bodies were manufactured by Karmann, but production was later taken in-house to the BMW Group Plant Dingolfing.

Our car on offer was purchased on January 18^th 1984 by US service member Mr. Ulin in Brussels, Belgium. Mr Ulin kept the car in Belgium until 1988 and then shipped it home to the US where it remained under his careful ownership until about 2005. It was then sold twice in the US and the last owner contacted Mr. Ulin in 2014 to ask if he wanted to buy it back. He did and was united again with this spectacular Coupe until just very recently in the spring of 2022, when it changed hands again.

This is a very nice and original 635 CSI Euro Coupe finished in agate green metallic over sand leather interior. The car still carries all of its original paint, which is still in remarkable condition. This dark shade of green in combination with the beautiful sand interior makes for a stunning color combination. The original BMW applied pinstriping is still on the car! These classy BMW Coupes are what the term GT (Grand Touring) is all about. Great looks, power, speed and comfort. In the 1980’s those cars were fierce contenders in the left lane on German Autobahns!

While most of these were sold with automatic transmissions, this car- being a European delivery not only has the much prettier smaller bumpers, but it is also a highly desirable 5 speed manual.

The body is laser straight with perfect gaps and shut lines, great shine and very nice bright work.
The all original interior is also in very beautiful condition, with soft clean leather seats, a perfect crack free dashboard and flawless door panels and headliner.

With only 98k miles on the mighty M30 3.4l engine, this car runs and drives like new. You can tell, this car was never abused and loved by enthusiastic owners.

A very rare find in today’s market.
