We are excited to offer on behalf of one of our customers, this extremely well kept and highly original 1973 Porsche 911 Targa in beautiful tangerine orange.

For many years, 2shores has been offering selected first grade examples of collectible automobiles. This beautiful, classic Targa is one of those rare offerings!

This iconic Porsche 911 Targa came out of single ownership(!) just earlier this year. It was purchased brand new in Stuttgart, Germany by a US Army medical doctor, who drove it in Germany for a few years while stationed and then shipped it over to the US and never let go of it for 47 years! Being a medical professional, his attention to detail and accuracy not only showed in the care he took of this beautiful 911, but also in painstaking record-keeping.

This Porsche comes with the best and most complete history documentation, I have ever seen in 20 years. The thick file contains the original order form, personal communications with Porsche, service manual, receipts, brochures, German registration records, original hard copy photos from the 70’s of the car in Germany and so much more. Amazing!

Needless to say, this is a 100% correct and original, number’s matching 911. The car was partially restored in the 90’s in the US (of course all receipts and photos available) and has since enjoyed life as a contender in many Porsche events, drives and shows. The collection of trophies includes numerous first place finishes in PCA sponsored events.

The car is a really nice example with one repaint to original tangerine orange (018) over tan interior. The interior is finished in premium leather with one sport seat for the driver (as ordered new) and standard seat for the passenger.
The mileage is about 140k on the chassis and about 20k on the top end rebuild.

The car runs and drives fantastic and is a true joy. It has some little signs of road use, small little dents and imperfections but nothing that would require paint work.
Impossible to find a 48 year old vehicle with a better history.

Comes with correct spare, jack and tool bag.
